About the Role
Your Impact includes supporting the design of urban and rural roadways, intersections, interchanges and active transportation facilities using modern civil design tools. You will assist with horizontal and vertical alignments, cross‑sections, grading and drainage layouts, and prepare engineering drawings, 3D models and design details. You will contribute to technical reports, design summaries, quantity take‑offs and tender documents, and participate in site visits and field reviews. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and application of design standards will ensure safety, accessibility and sustainability in every project. • Support design of urban/rural roadways, intersections, interchanges, and active transportation facilities. • Assist with horizontal/vertical alignments, cross‑sections, grading, and drainage layouts. • Prepare engineering drawings, 3D models and detailed design documentation. • Contribute to technical reports, design summaries, quantity take‑offs and tender packages. • Participate in site visits and field reviews to gather data and resolve issues. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (planning, structures, geotechnical, environmental, municipal). • Apply design standards, guidelines and best practices to ensure safety and sustainability.

What You Bring
• Recent or upcoming Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with focus on transportation or municipal infrastructure. • Eligibility for Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) registration with a provincial association. • Foundational knowledge of roadway geometry, drainage and pavements from coursework or co‑op experience. • Proficiency with civil design software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation/OpenRoads or similar) and willingness to learn new tools. • Ability to work with survey, GIS, traffic and terrain data and translate it into buildable designs. • Strong collaboration, organization and attention‑to‑detail skills, with a growth mindset and passion for sustainable transportation.
