About the Role
Mortenson is hiring a Laborer who will assist with material handling, equipment assembly and disassembly, preparing work areas, and cleaning machines and workspaces. The role supports construction projects by loading and unloading equipment, supplying tools and materials, maintaining clean work zones, erecting and taking down scaffolding, handling motor and grout, managing concrete placement and vibration, and performing general site cleanup. • Load and unload construction equipment. • Supply materials and tools to trade crews. • Clean work areas, machines, and equipment. • Erect and dismantle 5 × 7 × 16 ft scaffolding and staging. • Perform general debris cleanup, including sweeping, washing, and removal. • Place, push, pull, and shovel concrete; vibrate concrete to proper finish. • Build effective relationships with diverse team members. • Operate power and non‑powered hand tools, vibrators, pumps, drills, jackhammers, forklifts, skid loaders, and power buggies.

What You Bring
Ideal candidates have construction experience, are proficient with hand and power tools as well as equipment such as forklifts and skid loaders, and possess strong teamwork, communication, and attention‑to‑detail skills. Physical capacity to lift up to 50 lb (with assistance for heavier loads) and perform repetitive movements is required.
