About the Role

A Driver – CDL (A) safely operates heavy commercial trucks, tractor‑trailers, or straight trucks with a pup trailer to deliver and remove large containers. The driver ensures the vehicle complies with Company safety standards, adheres to all state and federal regulations, and completes daily Vehicle Condition Reports to address any defects promptly. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report safety issues. • Safely operate the truck along assigned routes, following route sheets and maps. • Load, compact, and dispose of waste according to safety policies. • Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service. • Conduct minor container repairs and tag unsatisfactory containers. • Monitor waste for prohibited items and clean accidental spills per safety standards. • Keep the vehicle operationally ready by cleaning waste from containers each trip. • Complete route sheets, productivity reports, and Vehicle Condition Reports daily. • Meet department productivity standards and follow all safety policies. • Participate actively in the Company’s ReSOP safety program. • Effectively manage time to complete duties safely and efficiently. • Adhere to company policies, promote safety standards, and avoid inappropriate risks.

What You Bring

• Demonstrate strong customer service skills with a professional and trustworthy demeanor. • Show consistent follow‑through on schedules and emerging challenges. • Preferably have at least two years of commercial truck driving experience. • Possess mechanical aptitude for minor container repairs. • Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with air‑brake endorsement.
