Key responsibilities include direct sales, relationship building, and collaboration with broader sales and technical teams to secure large‑scale opportunities. The role also entails consultative and prescriptive selling, go‑to‑market strategy development, stakeholder engagement across engineering, IT, and executive levels, and cross‑functional coordination with product, marketing, and customer‑success teams. • Promote, prescribe, and close deals for EcoStruxure Automation Expert. • Identify and initiate relationships with target accounts aligned with solution capabilities. • Collaborate with sales, technical, and channel partners to secure large‑scale opportunities. • Drive commercial success through consultative and prescriptive selling, including pilots and full‑scale rollouts. • Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies positioning EcoStruxure Automation Expert as an open automation platform. • Analyze customer pain points and market trends to refine value proposition and influence OEMs, system integrators, and end‑users. • Build and maintain relationships with engineering, operations, IT, and executive stakeholders to champion digital transformation. • Coordinate with product management, marketing, and customer‑success teams to align solutions with market needs and provide feedback for product enhancements. • Serve as the primary conduit between customers and the Center of Excellence, handling escalations and feature prioritization. • Translate complex technical concepts into business value propositions.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, results‑driven professional with deep expertise in industrial automation, digital transformation, and Industry 4.0. They must be comfortable working autonomously while collaborating effectively within a matrix organization, acting as a subject‑matter expert to guide internal teams, customers, and partners. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field, and have at least five years of consultative, technical solution‑sales experience. A deep understanding of industrial control systems, PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and edge computing is essential, along with strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills. The position requires 30‑50 % travel. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field. • Possess 5+ years of consultative, technical solution‑sales experience in industrial automation. • Demonstrate deep knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, DCS, edge computing, and related control systems. • Exhibit strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills. • Travel 30‑50% of the time.
