About the Role
As a Senior Technology Systems Consultant, you will lead design efforts across a variety of projects, collaborating with senior consultants, architects, MEP engineers, and clients. Responsibilities include creating system layouts with CAD/BIM, performing calculations, developing specifications, and coordinating with other trades. You will also conduct field inspections, assist with due‑diligence studies, and support construction administration and QA/QC processes. • Design and layout telecom/IT systems using CAD/BIM. • Perform system calculations and develop specifications, narratives, and layouts. • Conduct field inspections, due diligence, feasibility, and gap analysis. • Assist senior engineers with project scheduling, budgeting, and RFI/Change Order processing. • Oversee QA/QC for design deliverables and coordinate multidisciplinary efforts.

What You Bring
The position requires at least eight years of experience in audiovisual, telecom, IT, or security design across markets such as data centers, healthcare, aviation, and sports venues. Candidates must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of active network systems, structured cabling, and basic Wi‑Fi and telephony concepts. Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit is preferred, and relevant certifications such as PE, RCDD, CCNA, or PMP are required. • Minimum 8 years experience in AV, telecom, IT, or security design across critical facilities, healthcare, aviation, sports, corporate, and education sectors. • Strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and knowledge of active network and structured cabling design. • Basic understanding of Wi‑Fi infrastructure, WAPs, controllers, and telephony concepts, including heat‑map generation. • Preferred proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit; required professional certifications (PE, RCDD, CCNA, CCNP, PMP, etc.).
