About the Role
The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician joins the Operations Maintenance Team to repair and maintain material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, and automated packaging and distribution equipment throughout the building. In this role the technician promotes a safe work environment, performs preventative maintenance, troubleshoots electrical and mechanical issues, manages work orders and inventory data, mentors junior staff, and collaborates with colleagues across the facility. • Promote safety by following all safety procedures • Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on material handling equipment (belts, motors, photo‑eyes, relays, etc.) • Create, assign, and close work orders tracking labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used • Track and store department inventory • Mentor junior technicians • Maintain positive working relationships across the operations facility • Lift up to 50 lb of equipment • Work in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a high school diploma (or equivalent) and have at least two years of experience repairing material handling equipment and conducting predictive maintenance, along with basic blueprint and electrical schematic reading skills, familiarity with CMMS, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; preferred applicants hold an associate degree in a mechanical or electrical field and have experience with MHE safety standards and robotic systems. The position requires regular physical activity such as reaching overhead, kneeling, squatting, climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 lb, and wearing required PPE while working in a warehouse environment that may involve temperature fluctuations and travel between locations. • High school diploma or equivalent • 2+ years experience repairing material handling equipment • 2+ years experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance • 1+ year blueprint and electrical schematic reading • 1+ year knowledge of electrical and electronic principles • Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project • Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts • Associate or higher degree in mechanical or electrical field (preferred) • Familiarity with MHE safety standards per OEM • Experience with robotic operation and maintenance • Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions • Ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb ladders or aerial lift • Wear required PPE such as hard hat, face shield, and composite toe shoes • Crouch or bend regularly and travel 6‑12 miles per day between departments • Computer work 1‑2 hours per day
