About the Role
Prepare electrical engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, designs, specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents. Create detailed requisitions for electrical equipment and related materials, review supplier drawing submittals, and perform technical bid analyses. Provide technical guidance to CAD designers, drafters, and lower‑level engineers on the project. Independently design electrical power distribution systems, LV designs, and lighting for roads, underpasses, and tunnels using Dialux or Relux, as well as traffic signal designs and power cable sizing calculations. Deliver technical PowerPoint presentations and design reports to clients. • Prepare engineering calculations, takeoffs, estimates, surveys, designs, specifications, data sheets, and construction documents. • Create detailed requisitions, review supplier submittals, and conduct technical bid analyses. • Provide technical guidance to CAD designers, drafters, and junior engineers. • Design power distribution, LV systems, roadway and tunnel lighting, and traffic signals using Dialux/Relux. • Perform power cable sizing calculations. • Deliver technical PowerPoint presentations and design reports to clients. • Offer training, development, and opportunities on marquee projects.

This role primarily supports design functions on infrastructure and road tunnels for electrical equipment and systems, applying electrical engineering techniques and standards. You will collaborate with electrical CAD designers to review drawings and provide technical input for procurement and system installation. A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution is required. Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in electrical design of large infrastructure and road projects, with strong proficiency in Dialux and Relux software. Basic knowledge of ELV systems such as CCTV and access control, and thorough familiarity with CIE 115, CIE 140, CIE 88 standards and local electricity authority regulations (DEWA, SEWA) is essential. Approval from DM/RTA and experience with AutoCAD are considered advantageous. • Hold a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. • Minimum 8+ years experience in electrical design for large infrastructure and road projects. • Proficient with Dialux and Relux software. • Knowledge of ELV systems (CCTV, access control) and standards CIE 115/140/88 and local regulations (DEWA, SEWA). • DM/RTA approval and AutoCAD experience are advantageous.
