Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

About the Role

Property Managers work independently across multiple locations, both inside and outside the facilities. They assess customers' storage needs, suggest solutions, and sell packing and moving supplies. Daily duties include inspecting storage units, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and contacting customers for payment reminders and collections. • Assess customer storage needs and recommend appropriate solutions. • Sell packing and moving supplies to customers. • Conduct daily storage unit inspections to ensure availability. • Audit cash drawers and prepare bank deposits. • Make payment reminder and collection calls. • Lift/move items up to 35 lb and walk up to 50 % of time in facility environments. • Perform cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and exterior grounds maintenance.

What You Bring

The role requires the ability to lift or move items up to 35 lb and to spend up to 50 % of the time walking in or around facilities, including outdoor environments, stairs, and large doors. Managers also perform cleaning and routine maintenance such as sweeping, mopping interior areas and keeping exterior grounds clear of debris. Successful candidates have customer-service-oriented sales experience from retail, restaurant, fast‑food or similar service environments. A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle are required, with mileage reimbursement provided.
