Regional Sales Manager
Manage regional sales, grow accounts, lead team, ensure safety in central Texas.
Job Highlights
About the Role
• Deliver industry-leading service. • Engage in prospecting for new business. • Build relationships and rapport with customers. • Serve as a liaison between customers and Nucor Rebar Fabrication operations. • Establish annual sales plans for the region/market in collaboration with the Sales Manager and DSM team. • Provide proactive, positive problem solving to help achieve and exceed revenue, shipment, and profitability goals. • Proactively drive change, promoting continuous improvement of processes and workplace effectiveness. • Supervise and train new DSMs, ensuring performance standards and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. • Lead, develop, and coach members of the NRF Presale Team, including DSMs, Inside Sales, and Estimating. • Work with the Estimating Supervisor to balance estimating resources across the region to support strategy. • Collaborate with Inside Sales and Estimating to complete tasks effectively. • Participate in joint meetings with other Regional Sales Managers and DSMs to drive high‑level initiatives.

What You Bring
The position requires extensive travel throughout the assigned market, with frequent face‑to‑face interactions with customers. • Exhibit strong organizational skills, prioritizing tasks and managing time in an unsupervised environment. • Demonstrate leadership as a forward‑facing representative with strategic accounts and high‑profile projects. • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. • Proven history of sales or marketing experience in the steel industry. • Willingness to travel extensively. • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, development, and profitability. • Experience in customer relations and resolving problems or disputes. • Basic knowledge of contracts, standard business practices, and human relations.
