About the Role
The Project Engineer position supports the full technical lifecycle, from sales engagement through to site commissioning, delivering high-performance power infrastructure that advances Australia’s energy transition and decarbonisation goals. • Lead engineering from concept through detailed design, FAT, SAT and commissioning, ensuring contractual and risk compliance. • Convert customer specifications and AS/IEC standards into technical drawings, BOMs and safety-critical documentation. • Perform electrical calculations (cable sizing, voltage drop, derating) and design control circuits for LV and MV switchgear. • Prepare and manage manufacturing and installation documentation, proactively resolving technical issues for stakeholders. • Collaborate with project managers, engineers and suppliers to align interfaces, mitigate risks and meet project milestones. • Apply commercial insight to navigate technical specifications and contract conditions for optimal project outcomes.

What You Bring
• Hold an Electrical Engineering degree and 5+ years experience delivering LV/MV projects, especially MV switchboards and complex switchgear. • Demonstrate expertise in AS2067, AS3000 and AS62271 standards to produce build-ready designs. • Exhibit a customer-centric, documentation-focused leadership style that drives team excellence.
