Resident Care Director

About the Role

The Resident Care Director (RCD) is responsible for oversight of the day‑to‑day activities in Assisted Living, including resident services, associate management, general administration, and physical maintenance. Providing excellent resident services in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations to achieve a deficiency‑free survey is essential. • Develop and update individualized service plans for each assisted‑living resident, ensuring staff know resident ADL needs. • Assess and address ongoing resident needs to promote optimal wellbeing. • Schedule staff and maintain department staffing using the electronic payroll system to ensure appropriate coverage. • Collaborate daily with the Assistant Resident Care Director or Memory Care Program Director to manage the department and ensure continuity of care. • Communicate with families, residents, and health‑care providers to resolve concerns and coordinate solutions.
