CDL Truck Driver - Residential Rearload Driver
Operate a heavy-duty truck to collect and dump residential waste containers.
Job Highlights
About the Role
The role supports WM’s transfer‑route operations, requiring reliable handling of assigned deliveries. • Operate a heavy‑duty truck in compliance with OSHA, DOT and all applicable regulations. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report and report issues for corrective action. • Immediately report unsafe conditions, service calls, incidents, accidents, injuries or property damage to the Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Participate in required training, briefings and meetings. • Work with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency and address unsafe accounts. • Assist other drivers as directed and follow assigned routes, completing all required documentation. • Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Operations Manager. • Dump containers, clean the site, and position containers to avoid blocking driveways or traffic. • Complete and submit customer tickets when excess yardage removal is needed. • Maintain an acceptable driving record.

What You Bring
Applicants must hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B, be at least 18 years old, and successfully complete standard pre‑employment drug screening, physical, background check and motor‑vehicle‑record review. Pay Range: $22.14 per hour plus D.O.E. The schedule runs Monday through Saturday with one weekday off and a 5:30 am start time. WM emphasizes stability, growth, and investment in its people.
