About the Role
The position is responsible for managing and evaluating all information needed to deliver project scope on time, within budget, and to the quality standards specified in contract documents. This includes coordinating with architects, subcontractors, consultants, and owners to resolve issues and maintain productivity. • Resolve plan and specification issues with architects, subcontractors, consultants, and owners to prevent delays. • Manage project budget through change order processes and reconcile productivity and time‑recording data. • Review and align contract drawings and specifications with estimates to ensure accuracy. • Coordinate timely release of materials and equipment, publishing delivery dates to suppliers and field teams. • Collect invoices, assist in pay applications, and verify trade partner timesheets for billing. • Prepare and contribute data for Operational Review Meetings, Profit Plans, and Current Account Budgets. • Distribute schedules, scope details, and construction information to relevant parties. • Oversee submittals and shop drawings, ensuring conformance to contract specifications. • Negotiate and document change orders, perform quantity analysis, and obtain approvals. • Lead close‑out activities, compiling RFIs, warranties, as‑builts, O&M manuals, and spare parts inventories. • Supervise engineering staff, interns, and trades employees, providing performance feedback and approving timesheets. • Develop Scope of Work documents, General Conditions items, labor and safety logs, and quality‑control reports. • Schedule and facilitate subcontractor coordination, pre‑construction, and submittal review meetings.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and have at least four years of relevant experience. Required skills include contract interpretation, negotiation, BIM and lean technologies, strong written and verbal communication, leadership, and proficiency with MS Office. This is a salaried exempt position classified as experienced within the Construction job family, reporting to the Carolinas division.
