Assistant Manager - Technical

About the Role

The Site Engineer will manage daily site operations and ensure all technical services align with client requirements. This role oversees electromechanical systems, coordinates maintenance activities, and leads a team of engineers and support staff. • Oversee all building systems, including fire/life safety, MEP and critical utilities. • Document assets in asset trackers and manage defect liability period and AMC/CAMC records. • Hire, train, and develop shift engineers and maintenance staff. • Formulate budgeting controls and monitor SLA/KPI performance for JLL and outsourced agencies. • Maintain service level agreements and keep performance indicator scores above excellence. • Ensure timely renewal of agreements, submit invoices and follow up on payments. • Oversee vendor quotations, invoices and ensure proper cost‑sheet sign‑offs. • Manage engineering operational accounts and assist with budgeting. • Implement asset‑specific maintenance and safety procedures and enforce compliance. • Ensure planned preventive maintenance (PPM) is carried out on schedule. • Suggest and implement improvements to preventive maintenance programs. • Coordinate with contractors, tenants and engineers. • Maintain service and repair contracts. • Conduct risk/root‑cause analysis for system failures and develop corrective actions. • Administer inventory control programs for parts purchase and utilization. • Assess building operations and mitigate inherent risks. • Conduct regular inspections of MEP equipment and adjust controls as required. • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, government agencies and company directives. • Maintain as‑built drawing and transition document library. • Create emergency response plans and participate in evacuation drills. • Maintain engineering reports such as DMR and MMR. • Develop and maintain asset‑specific maintenance and safety manuals. • Submit client‑approved cost sheets and follow up on invoices. • Collaborate with regional RO/HO/SME/Training teams to close required reports. • Promote the slogan “No Safety No Work” throughout operations.
