About the Role

You will work at the Mesa, AZ hauling site’s repair shop, Monday through Friday on the 2:30 pm–11 pm second shift, providing stable hours for work‑life balance. As a Diesel Mechanic you will maintain and repair trucks and equipment serving over 20 million customers, using modern tools and procedures on diesel and, at some locations, CNG trucks. Your work ensures reliable service for the community. • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on vehicles and equipment. • Estimate time and material costs for repairs and parts. • Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs). • Respond to emergency service calls and breakdowns. • Conduct safety checks on all vehicles. • Complete paperwork documenting parts usage and repair time. • Assist senior mechanics with project work. • Review and assign repairs from Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports. • Maintain a clean, safe work area compliant with OSHA standards.
