About the Role

The Facilities AMP Manager leads asset management planning and performance oversight for PSAB facilities. This role covers space accountability, demolition, housing assets, and special considerations such as HEMP, and works closely with the Operations Flight R&O cell to align investment decisions with accurate SMS BUILDER data and risk‑based planning. In this position the manager provides portfolio‑level leadership for the entire facility lifecycle, integrates mechanical and interior utility sub‑AMP inputs, enforces data standards, validates repair and replacement outputs, and drives KPI‑based performance management. Coordination with Operations and Engineering flights ensures appropriate execution pathways, while root‑cause analysis supports continuous improvement. KBR integrates environmental, social and governance principles into all operations and supports customers’ sustainability goals. Applicants should be aware of fraud attempts; KBR never requests advance payment or personal financial information during the hiring process. • Serve as primary AMP Manager for Facilities, aligning Asset Visibility, Requirements, Planning, and Performance. • Provide portfolio‑level leadership for facility lifecycle management: O&M, repair, sustainment, restoration, modernization, and demolition. • Oversee integration of Sub‑AMP inputs for mechanical systems and interior utilities (plumbing, lighting, fire alarms/suppression, interior electrical). • Establish and enforce data standards and QA practices to keep SMS/NexGen IT inventories accurate. • Validate SMS repair/replace outputs and develop prioritized, mission‑aligned requirements. • Participate in IPL and Squadron Execution Plan development; lead AMP working groups and produce required minutes and deliverables. • Drive performance management through KPI evaluation (BCI/SCI targets, BUILDER confidence goals) and trend analysis. • Coordinate with Operations Flight shops and Engineering Flight on execution pathway decisions (organic vs. project). • Support root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions based on asset performance and failure trends.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program, have five or more years of experience with HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, or building automation systems, and be familiar with building codes and AFIT courses (WENG 200, WENG 400, WMGT 231, WMGT 417). A SECRET clearance is required, and the ability to work within a KPI‑driven asset management framework using BUILDER is essential. Preferred experience includes managing facility portfolios with BUILDER, knowledge of Uniformat II/NISTIR 6389 nomenclature, and expertise in space planning or facility program optimization. • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (ABET‑accredited) and 5+ years experience with HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, or building automation. • Experience with building codes, AFIT courses (WENG 200, WENG 400, WMGT 231, WMGT 417), and ability to obtain/maintain a SECRET clearance. • Preferred: Managing facility portfolios using BUILDER outputs, familiarity with Uniformat II/NISTIR 6389, and expertise in space accountability or planning.
