About the Role

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will represent the firm in all interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and other project team members, and create basic designs under the direction of the supervising engineer or designer, developing specifications, system narratives, and system layouts for a variety of projects and sizes. • Establish design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects • Supervise preparation of reports and analysis of system options and building conditions • Maintain interdisciplinary coordination with other trades and consultants • Monitor all correspondence among staff, clients, contractors, and owners • Supervise construction administration tasks such as field reports, RFI responses, bulletins, and addenda • Conduct periodic objective and comprehensive employee evaluations • Assist in technical training and staff mentoring within the business unit • Support dynamic employee resource groups • Provide transit/parking stipend

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in either our Tampa or Jacksonville, FL offices. Your experience working in a consulting firm on healthcare projects will ensure your success in this role. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution, 8‑15 years of experience in a Florida consulting firm within the MEP industry, a professional engineer license, and strong hands‑on design skills using CAD/Revit. Project management abilities and experience leading an internal design team are a plus. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution • Possess 8–15 years of Florida consulting firm experience in MEP engineering, especially healthcare • Hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license • Demonstrate hands‑on design and CAD/Revit expertise • Project management skills and experience leading internal design teams (a plus)
