About the Role

You will participate in focused training, attend team meetings, work on projects, and present your results. A buddy and manager will support you throughout, providing coaching and mentoring to help you complete assignments and develop new skills. • Assist with day‑to‑day manufacturing operations, monitor equipment, oversee processes, and ensure production goals are met. • Participate in quality control and assurance, inspect products for defects, and verify compliance with industry and company standards. • Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction. • Collect and analyze data on manufacturing processes, equipment performance, and product quality. • Learn and apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and enhance productivity. • Prepare reports, work instructions, and process documentation to ensure consistency and best practices. • Apply Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures to maintain compliance.

What You Bring

Interns become familiar with the Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and the inclusive culture of Baker Hughes, reflecting our strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The internship lasts 24 weeks, starting in January 2026 and concluding in June 2026. • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, another STEM field, or business. • Maintain a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent). • Demonstrate fluent oral and written English and effective communication skills. • Be able to relocate for the duration of the internship (locations vary). • Be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
