About the Role
The supervisor promotes Homewood’s culture of exceptional guest service, teamwork, innovation, and fun while working independently and collaboratively. They maintain professionalism, uphold safety and environmental values, and ensure guests and employees have a safe, memorable experience. They also encourage feedback and ideas to improve efficiency. Key operational duties include keeping chairlift loading and unloading areas clear of debris, setting up appropriate signage and mazes based on daily demand, and safely loading and unloading passengers, including extra assistance for children when needed. Snow removal and other necessary tasks are performed as required. Supervisory responsibilities involve coaching and training lift operators on proper loading techniques, shoveling, and ramp building, as well as overseeing daily break and lunch schedules. The supervisor ensures each lift team has the resources they need to succeed throughout the day. • Oversee daily lift operations and ensure timely setup, breaks, and smooth functioning. • Promote exceptional guest service, teamwork, innovation, and safety culture. • Keep chairlift loading/unloading areas clean, set up signage/mazes, and assist guests as needed. • Perform snow removal and maintain operational equipment. • Coach and train lift operators on loading techniques, shoveling, and ramp building. • Manage break and lunch schedules for lift teams.

What You Bring
Candidates must be at least 18, legally authorized to work in the U.S., and have at least one year of experience as a Lead Lift Operator. Required skills include strong communication, analytical and interpersonal abilities, a well‑groomed professional appearance, and fluency in English. Intermediate skiing or snowboarding is desirable, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme cold, wind, and loud environments is required. The role demands regular standing, walking, and hearing, as well as vision capabilities for close, distant, color, peripheral, and depth perception. Equipment used includes shovels, pick axes, radios, snow‑removal tools, skis/snowboards, and snowmobiles. • Require minimum 1 year Lead Lift Operator experience; must be 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S. • Possess strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills; fluent in English; professional appearance. • Desired intermediate skiing or snowboarding ability; able to lift 50+ lbs and work in cold, windy, loud conditions.
