About the Role

The Desktop Support Administrator serves as the first point of contact for technical support across corporate and field users, delivering high-quality Tier 1 and Tier 2 end-user assistance while helping modernize endpoint management, device security, and collaboration platforms. Key responsibilities include providing frontline support for hardware, software, and Microsoft 365 applications; managing imaging, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of Windows laptops and mobile devices; supporting printers, scanners, docking stations, and conference-room technology; assisting with LAN/Wi-Fi/VPN connectivity and secure remote access; and driving process improvements through issue trend analysis and automation initiatives. • Serve as frontline technical support for corporate and field employees via in-person, phone, Teams, and remote support tools • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and application issues including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for Microsoft 365 services including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Exchange Online • Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions within IT service management systems • Image, configure, deploy, and maintain Windows laptops and mobile devices • Support MDM platforms (Manage Engine/Apple Business) for device compliance, security enforcement, and remote management • Perform OS upgrades, patching, driver updates, and lifecycle replacements • Maintain asset inventory and endpoint lifecycle documentation • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot printers, scanners, docking stations, and conference room technology • Perform preventative maintenance on endpoint equipment • Coordinate vendor repairs and warranty replacements • Assist users with LAN/Wi-Fi/VPN connectivity issues • Perform basic network troubleshooting and escalation to infrastructure teams when required • Support secure remote access solutions and MFA authentication workflows • Identify trends in recurring issues and recommend improvements • Assist with endpoint standardization and deployment automation initiatives • Stay current with emerging workplace technology and security best practices • Participate in IT documentation development and knowledge base maintenance • Lift and transport equipment up to 30 pounds (rarely) • Occasionally move within the Lisle Corporate Office and perform duties there

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least three years of enterprise desktop support experience, strong proficiency with Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Azure Entra ID, and the Microsoft 365 suite, as well as experience supporting remote and hybrid workforces. Technical expertise should cover endpoint imaging tools, MDM platforms, DUO MFA, mobile-device support, endpoint security concepts, remote support software, and ticketing systems. Preferred qualifications include Microsoft Desktop Administrator or CompTIA certifications, familiarity with Zero Trust and Conditional Access policies, and experience with legacy operating systems. Core competencies emphasize a customer-service mindset, excellent troubleshooting, the ability to prioritize in fast-paced settings, strong documentation, collaboration, and meticulous attention to detail. The role offers an annual salary range of $65,000 to $75,000, paid biweekly.
