Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic
Maintain and repair heavy mining/quarry equipment at Princeton and Cadiz sites.

About the Role
The role uses a service truck to work on‑site at Princeton and may travel to the Canton Quarry when required; the truck is not a take‑home vehicle. The mechanic will service underground and surface equipment, performing repairs, routine maintenance, and inspections on mining, quarry, and plant machinery. • Maintain an uncompromising focus on safety excellence. • Perform major maintenance and repairs on haul trucks, loaders, excavators, draglines, drills, dozers, crushers, conveyors, and underground mining equipment. • Conduct routine scheduled maintenance, inspections, and complete work order records. • Weld and fabricate components as needed. • Handle parts catalogs, procurement, storage, and cost control for heavy‑equipment parts. • Perform housekeeping duties, work‑area checks, and safely operate mobile equipment. • Operate a company vehicle on public highways with a clean driving record and pass a Motor Vehicle Record check.

What You Bring
• Minimum of five years experience working on heavy equipment. • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair engines, brake systems, transmissions, torque converters, hydraulic systems, drivetrain components, HVAC, and electrical systems. • Work overtime, weekends, and in all weather conditions; lift up to 50 lb and climb to heights of 20 ft. • Pass a DOT medical exam and obtain a DOT medical card.
