About the Role
The Senior Financial Analyst on the Client Finance team plays a critical role in managing complex financial operations for a diverse client portfolio, driving strategic insights that enhance client relationships and operational excellence. In this role you will handle client funding requests, execute month‑end closing procedures, analyze utility expense trends, collaborate with budgeting and forecasting teams, reconcile utility accounts, and prepare detailed reports for both clients and internal stakeholders. • Process client funding requests and payments using JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. • Execute month‑end closing procedures for assigned general‑ledger companies. • Analyze utility expense trends to identify cost‑saving opportunities. • Collaborate with budgeting and forecasting teams to align actual expenses with budgets. • Reconcile utility accounts and resolve discrepancies with clear documentation. • Prepare and present reports on utility spending and consumption patterns. • Respond to complex client inquiries with professional and timely service. • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy under pressure.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, have 3–4 years of general‑ledger and accounts‑payable experience, and be proficient in advanced Excel and ERP systems, particularly JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of utility industry practices, experience in commercial real‑estate finance, advanced data‑visualization skills, client‑facing experience, process‑improvement background, and professional certifications such as CPA or CFA. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Possess 3–4 years of experience in general‑ledger management and accounts payable. • Demonstrate advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards. • Exhibit strong analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail abilities. • Communicate complex financial information clearly in written and verbal formats. • Knowledge of utility industry billing structures and energy management concepts. • Experience in commercial real‑estate or property‑management financial operations. • Advanced Excel techniques such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data visualization. • Familiarity with financial reporting and presentation software beyond Microsoft Office. • Background in client‑facing roles or professional services environments. • Experience with process‑improvement initiatives or lean methodology. • Professional certification or coursework in accounting or finance (e.g., CPA, CFA).
