About the Role

• Conduct routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on Simplex Fire Alarm Systems and comparable products • Work with low‑voltage wiring and associated devices • Complete Service Acknowledgements using laptops or hard copy with proper coding • Maintain a structured inspection schedule • Input, retrieve, and archive inspection documents via mobile device • Complete assigned inspections on time

What You Bring

• Documented experience in low‑voltage electrical systems and fire/security systems • Valid driver’s license meeting company requirements • High School Diploma or equivalent • Successful completion of the Inspector Entrée Course (Electrical or Sprinkler) • Achieve NICET Level I certification within one year on the job • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions • Capable of lifting 50‑70 lb and working at heights up to 40 ft on ladders, scaffolding, or high‑lift equipment • Strong customer service orientation and teamwork skills • Self‑starter able to work with supervision • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and quick learning ability • Preferred: 1‑3 years experience in low‑voltage systems, NICET certification, and proficiency with hand tools and multimeter
