About the Role
The photographer will lead all photography efforts for Gensler’s North Central Region, serving as the primary interior and architectural photographer while also creating portrait and group images for team members and collaboration moments. The role includes managing the regional photography calendar, coordinating shoot logistics, and maintaining relationships with freelance photographers. • Lead and coordinate all regional photography initiatives. • Serve as the primary interior and architectural photographer for projects. • Produce portrait and group photography for internal and client use. • Manage the regional photography calendar and shoot scheduling. • Create detailed shot‑list documents with internal stakeholders. • Coordinate with external modeling agencies and talent as needed. • Act as on‑site producer and liaison during shoots with freelance photographers. • Maintain contracts and relationships with freelance photographers. • Edit, produce, and distribute final image assets to stakeholders. • Oversee regional photography administration and brand standard alignment. • Develop basic videography skills to support short‑form video content. • Collaborate with communications and marketing teams to expand motion‑based assets.

What You Bring
Gensler is looking for a professional, motivated, and highly collaborative Regional Photographer to join its Chicago team. This role supports design excellence by working closely with communications, marketing, leadership, design teams, and clients to produce and manage high‑quality photography assets. Applicants must have at least eight years of professional experience in both photographic production support and hands‑on photography, a strong eye for storytelling, and exceptional organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office is required, and a portfolio of work must be submitted with the application.

Benefits
