What You Bring
The company is seeking an experienced Technician – You to perform preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on a diverse fleet. Primary equipment includes aerial work platforms and construction tools, while specialty locations may handle large generators, pumps, HVAC, and oil‑and‑gas gear. The role supports Sunbelt’s double‑digit growth and internal promotion focus. Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED; trade school training is desirable. Prior mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment, especially generators, pumps, HVAC, or oil‑and‑gas machinery, is strongly preferred, and a Red Seal Heavy Duty certification is an asset. The technician should possess advanced knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems and strong troubleshooting skills. Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast‑paced environment is essential, and the ability to provide personal mechanic tools is expected, with a tool allowance available. The position requires physical activity such as bending, squatting, reaching, and lifting 50 lb or more, both indoors and outdoors.
