About the Role

The Data Center Electrical Technician role focuses on operating, inspecting, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment in critical data‑center environments, ensuring efficient, safe, and energy‑efficient operations while minimizing downtime. Day‑to‑day duties involve using EPMS and CMMS tools for monitoring and task management. • Implement critical environment protocols and MOP processes • Maintain and repair electrical services, distribution systems, and UPS equipment • Inspect and maintain plant substations, transformers, and high‑voltage switches • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot UPS systems and battery banks • Perform regular battery inspections, testing, replacement, and track performance using EPMS • Conduct preventative maintenance on electrical and HVAC components • Update work orders and manage tasks using CMMS

What You Bring

Physical requirements include lifting up to 80 lb, working at heights up to 30 ft, and performing various tasks in diverse conditions, with on‑call availability expected. This day‑shift position is on‑site in Spartanburg, SC and does not provide visa sponsorship; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. • Journeyman Electrician’s license • Minimum 4 years of technical experience in building engineering electrical systems • Strong background with UPS systems and VRLA batteries, including replacement and troubleshooting • Familiarity with EPMS for power management • Experience in data center or raised‑floor environments and CRAC (Liebert) maintenance • Prior work with a critical infrastructure technology company • Advanced knowledge of UPS integration and data‑center power systems (preferred) • Experience with battery monitoring and predictive maintenance (preferred) • Expertise in high‑voltage operations and substations (preferred) • Knowledge of building automation and fire/life‑safety systems (preferred) • Ability to lift up to 80 lb and work at heights up to 30 ft • Availability for on‑call work; day‑shift schedule
