About the Role

The Designer assists in preparing design plans for projects of varying complexity, including CAD/Revit drawing set‑up, arc‑flash coordination studies, and specifications for engineer review, and finalizes CAD sheets, XRefs, and title blocks for deliverables. Key duties include producing engineering drawings using current AutoCAD versions (MicroStation knowledge a plus), reviewing sketches and specifications for design compliance, supporting engineers with technical studies, and contributing to timely completion of drawing production, QA/QC, and updates. The role also involves collaboration with other disciplines, staying current with drafting software and hardware changes, performing fieldwork and documentation, and managing client or sub‑consultant CAD coordination issues. • Prepare design plans, CAD/Revit drawing set‑up, and arc‑flash coordination studies • Create specifications for engineer review and finalize CAD sheets, XRefs, and title blocks • Produce engineering drawings using AutoCAD (MicroStation knowledge a plus) • Review sketches and specifications to ensure design conformity • Assist engineers with technical studies and daily CAD production, QA/QC, and updates • Collaborate with multiple disciplines on multi‑discipline projects • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of drafting software, hardware, and procedures • Perform fieldwork, documentation, research, and drafting tasks as directed • Manage client and sub‑consultant CAD coordination issues • Utilize plotter configurations, page setups, and plot styles effectively

What You Bring

The position requires a high school diploma and specific CAD training, proficiency with AutoCAD and familiarity with MicroStation, plotter configuration, page setups, and plot styles, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
