About the Role
These roles sit at the heart of delivery. As a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer, you’ll support and enable the end‑to‑end delivery of complex infrastructure projects, from early works and design coordination through to construction, commissioning and close‑out. Senior Project Engineers will also provide technical leadership, act as an escalation point on engineering matters, and mentor engineers within the team. • Manage technical inputs, RFIs and design coordination for construction. • Coordinate procurement, materials and contractor activities. • Support or lead project planning, scheduling and reporting. • Resolve construction and delivery challenges in complex environments. • Manage as‑built documentation and asset acceptance requirements. • Work closely with project managers, construction teams and specialists. • Contribute to safe delivery in greenfield and brownfield environments. • Maintain a safety‑first mindset and respect for governance and quality outcomes. • Work on Synchronous Condenser (SynCons) projects that support system strength, involve complex brownfield delivery, commissioning and integration with live assets. • Contribute to the Central‑West Orana Renewable Energy Zone, delivering new transmission infrastructure for large‑scale renewable generation and regional growth. • Participate in data centre connections and network augmentations, enabling rapid expansion of data centres across NSW through new substations and complex customer connections. • Work on infrastructure that underpins Australia’s renewable energy transition.

What You Bring
We’re particularly keen to hear from engineers with Electrical and/or Civil backgrounds, though experience in other relevant disciplines is also welcome. • Hold a degree in Electrical, Civil or a related engineering discipline (or equivalent experience). • Have experience delivering infrastructure, utilities, energy or major construction projects. • Possess exposure to substation, transmission line, civil or multi‑disciplinary works. • Demonstrate strong coordination, problem‑solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
