About the Role

Job Summary: The Interconnection Sales Specialist (ICSS) is tasked with driving digital revenue growth by expanding the adoption of Equinix’s Fabric, Fabric Cloud Router, and Network Edge services. The role works closely with Sales Account Executives, Solution Architects, and Technical Account Managers to deliver the full value of the digital services portfolio to both new and existing customers. Key responsibilities span product expertise, customer relationship building, territory and account planning, solution selling, pipeline management, and negotiation. The specialist acts as a digital product authority, supports field sales with expertise, collaborates on pursuit strategies, conducts feasibility assessments, defines value metrics, and ensures timely forecasting and opportunity tracking. Success is measured against monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas and associated KPI metrics. • Accelerate adoption of Equinix Fabric, Fabric Cloud Router, and Network Edge across new and existing accounts. • Serve as a digital product and services authority, sharing industry best practices and solution benefits. • Collaborate with Sales Account Executives, Solution Architects, and Technical Account Managers to craft and execute digital pursuit strategies. • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, prospects, and partners to uncover new digital selling opportunities. • Drive prospecting, account growth, and pipeline development to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets. • Perform presales feasibility assessments and deliver value assessments aligned with customer business needs. • Provide accurate forecasting, opportunity status updates, and coordinate cross‑functional resources throughout the sales cycle. • Lead quoting, negotiation, and contract finalization for digital services engagements.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate is passionate about infrastructure, interconnection, and SaaS, digitally savvy, and has a strong sales management background. Required skills include relationship building, analytical problem‑solving, and excellent communication. Qualifications call for a bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related field (MBA preferred) and at least five years of experience selling enterprise and cloud solutions. • Leverage strong analytical, problem‑solving, and presentation skills to influence decision‑makers. • Bring 5+ years of experience selling enterprise/cloud infrastructure solutions and a bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).

Benefits

Compensation for this role is target‑based, ranging from $249,000 to $449,000 annually depending on location, plus commissions and potential equity.
