About the Role
The Senior Consultant, Learning works in a corporate environment to provide strategic direction, planning, leadership and coaching for large‑scale learning initiatives. The role partners with senior‑level clients to identify and prioritize organizational training needs, designs and implements learning solutions, and measures their effectiveness for senior management and key stakeholders. Key responsibilities include conducting needs assessments, developing curricula and training materials such as storyboards, guides, videos and self‑paced modules, managing multiple project plans, budgets and risk mitigation, and executing change‑management and communication strategies. The consultant also delivers classroom or virtual training, facilitates team planning, and mentors junior team members. • Partner with senior leaders to assess and prioritize organizational training needs. • Design and develop learning solutions, including curricula, storyboards, guides, videos, self‑paced modules and job aids. • Manage end‑to‑end project plans, budgets, risk mitigation and resource allocation for large‑scale training initiatives. • Implement change‑management and communication strategies to support training deployment. • Deliver classroom and virtual synchronous learning sessions. • Conduct post‑training analysis, measure ROI and generate impact reports for stakeholders. • Mentor and coach team members, reviewing deliverables and providing guidance. • Build and manage systematic change programs (preferred). • Apply adult learning theories and instructional design best practices (preferred). • Collaborate with business leaders to translate objectives into effective learning programs (preferred).

What You Bring
Required qualifications are a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or a related field, a high‑school diploma or GED with four years of relevant experience, and at least seven years of experience managing high‑performance teams. Preferred qualifications include experience building systematic change programs, expertise in adult learning theory and instructional design, and the ability to leverage AI‑driven tools for innovative learning solutions. The role may require air travel or access to federal property, so candidates must possess a REAL ID or an equivalent TSA‑approved alternative, or be willing to obtain one. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in HR, I/O Psychology or a related field (required). • Possess at least seven years of experience managing high‑performance work teams (required). • Leverage AI‑driven tools and emerging technologies to streamline content development (preferred). • Must have or be willing to obtain a REAL ID or TSA‑approved alternative for travel and federal property access.

The position follows a hybrid work schedule, with Monday‑Thursday in the Windsor, CT office and Fridays working remotely. It primarily operates in a professional office setting using standard equipment such as computers and phones. The expected salary range is $120 K–$125 K, with final compensation based on experience, education, certifications and location.
