About the Role

Within the Member Experience team, you will own a critical business function: ensuring the credit and payment quality of our members as we scale. You’ll lead the approach, operations, and systems behind the billing and payments lifecycle, balancing member experience, risk management, and profitability. The role drives initiatives to improve portfolio quality, compliance, and member trust. • Oversee payment collection and enforce non‑payment actions to keep members in good standing. • Define and manage billing processes including collections, disputes, chargebacks, payment plans, disconnections, reconnections, and escalations. • Partner with Finance to maintain documentation and data required for bankability. • Establish and maintain business processes, policies, and controls in collaboration with Finance and Compliance. • Develop fraud prevention and credit quality processes, working closely with Software Engineering. • Create and maintain operational KPI reporting across the billing lifecycle.

What You Bring

• Minimum 4 years experience in billing, payments, or risk management, preferably in energy, utilities, fintech, or a regulated consumer sector. • Ability to design strategy, build dashboards/tools, and execute day‑to‑day tasks. • Strong organization skills with emphasis on documentation, dashboards, and clear processes. • Skilled at balancing business priorities, regulatory compliance, and customer experience. • Proven cross‑functional collaboration with operations, engineering, finance, accounting, and compliance. • Data‑driven and detail‑oriented, relying on metrics and sound judgment.
