About the Role
Essential responsibilities involve navigating to project sites, often driving long distances safely, and working in inclement weather when required. The crew chief is responsible for all assigned equipment, confirming job accuracy before leaving the field, and treating clients with respect. Upholding company values, utilizing Microsoft Office and Teams, properly storing files, and sending emails are also required, though office attendance is not mandatory for most jobs. • Navigate to project sites and drive safely over long distances. • Operate TSC3 and TSC7 surveying equipment. • Perform construction layout tasks such as building, parking, utilities staking, and boundary surveys. • Manage and maintain all assigned equipment and confirm job accuracy on site. • Use Microsoft Teams and Office to store files and communicate. • Conduct OPUS solution calculations using Civil 3D. • Work in inclement weather as needed.
