About the Role
The successful candidate will support the Resident Engineer, supervise contractor activities, ensure compliance with contract documents, and participate in contract administration. Responsibilities also include reviewing contractor submissions, providing on‑site direction, supervising inspection staff, measuring work, enforcing safety practices, monitoring quality, tracking progress, preparing reports, and ensuring the accuracy of as‑built drawings. • Assist and deputize for the Resident Engineer in daily project operations. • Supervise contractor work to ensure compliance with contract documents and O&M standards. • Conduct contract administration, review contractor submissions, and issue site instructions. • Oversee site inspection staff, verify measured work, and enforce safety practices. • Monitor material and workmanship quality, track progress against schedule, and prepare progress reports. • Ensure accuracy and completeness of as‑built drawings.

The role involves assisting the Resident Engineer with the day‑to‑day operational functions of the project and overseeing assigned works. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and have at least 15 years of post‑graduate experience in site supervision and construction management of major infrastructure projects in the UAE, including 10 years in Dubai and 5 years in a comparable role. Required expertise includes civil supervision of road and infrastructure projects, knowledge of contractual relationships, proficiency with engineering and construction software, and strong written and oral communication skills in English. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with at least 15 years of site supervision and construction management experience in UAE. • Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in Dubai, including 5 years in a similar civil engineering role. • Demonstrated expertise in major road and infrastructure projects, contractual relationships, and relevant engineering software. • Strong written and oral communication skills in English and solid computer literacy.
