About the Role
Key responsibilities include serving as the central intake point for all Digital Services project demand, establishing a structured framework for evaluating and sequencing work, and leading capacity forecasting and resource planning. The role will build and operationalize the Digital Services PMO, define delivery standards such as governance models, stage‑gate controls, and reporting cadences, and provide coaching to project managers. When needed, the leader will directly manage high‑impact programs, ensuring cross‑functional execution aligns with business priorities, and will partner with business leaders to translate needs into actionable demand while delivering measurable value. • Act as central intake and prioritization hub for Digital Services project demand. • Create and maintain a framework for evaluating, sequencing, and governing work intake. • Lead capacity forecasting, workload balancing, and resource planning across projects. • Facilitate Digital Advisory Council governance forums to ensure alignment and decision discipline. • Enhance visibility into portfolio health, delivery commitments, and execution trade‑offs. • Build and operationalize the first Digital Services PMO with defined standards and processes. • Develop governance models, stage‑gate controls, templates, reporting cadences, and non‑project work discipline. • Provide enablement and coaching to project managers and delivery teams. • Directly manage high‑impact programs and projects as needed, delivering on time, scope, and business priorities. • Serve as a trusted delivery partner to IT and business stakeholders. • Collaborate with business leaders to translate needs into structured, executable demand. • Ensure Digital Services delivers measurable value, adoption, and operational improvement. • Communicate clearly, manage escalations, and maintain stakeholder alignment.

What You Bring
Milton CAT is looking for a highly capable, execution‑oriented Portfolio & PMO Governance Lead to establish the company’s first Digital Services PMO and portfolio governance function. The role will act as the single front door for demand intake, prioritization, and capacity planning, while also overseeing vendor lifecycle governance, IT financial discipline, and audit/compliance readiness across Digital Services. In addition to shaping governance structures, the incumbent will serve as a hands‑on Program/Project Manager to drive key initiatives to successful delivery. Qualified candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in information systems, business administration, or a related field and possess at least ten years of experience in portfolio management, PMO leadership, or enterprise IT delivery. Demonstrated ability to build and scale governance functions, strong demand and capacity planning skills, and a record of hands‑on program or project management success are essential. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑influence abilities are also required. Preferred experience includes working within enterprise application environments such as ERP, CRM, WMS, or HRIS, familiarity with vendor‑managed service models and contract renewal oversight, and a background supporting audit readiness or compliance governance. Exposure to digital transformation initiatives, experience in industrial or construction settings, and advanced certifications like PMP, Six Sigma, or Lean are considered a plus. • Bachelor’s degree in IS, Business Administration, or related field required. • 10+ years experience in portfolio management, PMO leadership, or enterprise IT delivery. • Proven ability to build and scale governance functions from scratch. • Strong demand and capacity planning expertise. • Demonstrated hands‑on program/project management success. • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder influence skills. • Experience with ERP, CRM, WMS, HRIS or similar enterprise applications preferred. • Familiarity with vendor‑managed service models and contract renewal oversight. • Background in audit readiness, compliance governance, or operational risk controls. • Exposure to digital transformation and delivery model maturity initiatives. • Experience in industrial, construction, or equipment operational environments. • Advanced certifications (PMP, Six Sigma, Lean) are a plus.

Benefits
The position offers a salary range of $150,000 to $175,000 annually and is eligible for bonus compensation. • Salary range $150,000‑$175,000 annually, bonus eligible.
