About the Role
The role involves a wide range of tasks on the construction site, including crane setup, rebar handling, and installation of reinforcing elements according to project specifications. • Set up, flag, and inspect crane • Inspect rigging correctly • Run site level • Check truck deliveries against bill of lading • Direct forklift/crane to unload trucks • Shake out rebar and organize distribution • Tie rebar intersections using pliers and tie wire • Cut excess rebar with gas saw or torch • Install mechanical rebar splices by bolting or welding • Install caps on vertical rebar dowels for safety • Install rebar dowels into fresh concrete footings • Determine reinforcement layout from blueprints or instructions • Bend steel rods using hand tools or rod‑bending machine • Reinforce concrete with wire mesh • Install prefabricated ornamental ironwork • Receive and offload major components • Install loose components for nacelle, hub, and tower preparation • Connect blades to hub • Manage taglines • Participate in main erection crane assembly and teardown • Climb ladders up to an average of 80 m • Maintain positive attitude and professional customer service • Operate equipment by manipulating levers, gears, pedals, and steering • Read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, procedures, and load charts • Perform repetitive hand, arm, and leg movements

What You Bring
Successful candidates demonstrate strong teamwork, a positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret technical documents and safety procedures. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, required equipment certifications, at least one year of related experience preferred, and a valid driver’s license with appropriate endorsements. • Count bars, rebar bundles, dobies, and wire mesh • Splice rebar mats or sections with dowels • Demonstrate strong teamwork orientation • Pay attention to detail • Know equipment and proper usage • Apply basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) • Work independently and accept direction from supervisors • Cooperate effectively in team environments • Follow work rules and procedures; punctual attendance • Accept constructive feedback • Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lb; heavier loads with assistance or equipment • High school diploma or GED required • Possess required equipment certifications • Prefer at least 1 year related experience • Hold a valid driver’s license with appropriate class and endorsements
