About the Role
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces with brushes, rollers, and spray machines. • Prepare surfaces by cleaning dirt, oil, and grease, removing old paint and wall coverings, and filling and smoothing cracks and holes. • Observe and comply with all safety and project rules; perform other duties as required.

What You Bring
The position requires demonstrating knowledge and skills in protective coating application. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least eighteen years old, and possess strong manual dexterity. A good eye for color, the ability to judge colors, and familiarity with various application techniques and safe handling of paints, solvents, and adhesives are essential. The job demands physical stamina to work for long periods with arms raised overhead. • Know the materials used to make paint and select appropriate types for plaster, wood, brick, and metal. • Possess a good eye for color to mix and match paints.
