About the Role
The Project Planning Professional will maintain project schedules within the monthly planning cycle and own the creation and management of Control Account Schedules. The role acts as the subject‑matter expert for planning and scheduling methodology across the assigned team. • Capture project scope with stakeholders and develop PBS, WBS, SOW and Basis of Estimate. • Provide planning governance, guidance and support to the delivery team and Level‑3 planners. • Identify schedule impact issues within Control Account Schedules and pursue solutions within cost, time and quality baselines. • Interpret Earned Value Management data and generate performance reports. • Apply Earned Value Techniques for accurate cost profiling and reporting. • Coach, mentor and train planners across the business.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate embraces agility, collaboration and simplicity, and possesses relevant project planning qualifications and experience with scheduling tools. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work within security requirements are essential. Applicants must be able to obtain or hold a UK Security Check clearance and be a UK national (or MoD‑approved dual national). Rolls‑Royce will support the clearance process where needed. • Project Planning and Controls accreditation or APM Project Management Qualification (desirable). • Experience creating schedules in complex environments, preferably with Primavera P6. • Strong knowledge of earned‑value management and scheduling techniques. • Ability to obtain UK Security Check clearance; UK national or MoD‑approved dual nationality. • Demonstrated agility, collaboration and simplicity in work approach.
