About the Role
The Bridge Engineer in Training (EIT) will support the development of bridge projects that span traditional highway bridges, pedestrian and railroad bridges, retaining walls, and sign structures, especially in seismic regions. This position works closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver design solutions and ensure project success. • Apply structural engineering and detailing techniques to bridge designs. • Design highway, pedestrian, railroad, retaining wall, and sign bridges, including seismic locations. • Perform structural load calculations and assist with geometric layout and quantity take‑offs. • Select standard bridge design procedures and develop detailed models using specialized software. • Participate in bridge inspections.

What You Bring
• Master's degree in civil (structural) engineering. • Minimum two years of bridge design experience. • Familiarity with bridge analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, LARSA 4D, LEAP Bridge Enterprise, etc.). • Bachelor's degree in engineering. • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification. • Proficiency with MS Office, MathCAD, AutoCAD, LARSA, and prestressed concrete design. • Knowledge of Bluebeam Revu and bridge software such as LEAP Bridge Enterprise, FB‑MultiPier, LPile, AASHTOWare BrR, Midas Civil, SAP2000, CSiBridge, etc. • Experience with Bentley OpenBridge Designer/OpenBridge Modeler or Autodesk InfraWorks/Civil 3D. • Strong computer skills for structural layout and design. • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
