About the Role
The Lead Construction Engineer – Electrical, Instrumentation & Telecom (E&I&T) is responsible for leading and managing all electrical, instrumentation and telecom construction activities on site, ensuring safe, compliant and timely execution in line with Saudi Arabian standards, project specifications and approved drawings. The role oversees LV/MV/HV systems, substations, instrumentation, DCS/PLC/SIS and telecom systems such as fiber optic, public address, general alarm and CCTV. As the primary E&I&T interface with EPC contractors, PMC, client, vendors and commissioning teams, the engineer ensures compliance with SAES, SAMSS, SABIC, IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA and ISA standards, reviews and approves method statements, ITPs, work packs and technical queries, and enforces HSE requirements including PTW and LOTO. Progress, manpower and material availability are monitored and site issues resolved, while pre‑commissioning, testing and commissioning support are led through handover. • Lead E&I&T construction works for LV/MV/HV systems, substations, instrumentation, DCS/PLC/SIS and telecom (FOC, PA/GA, CCTV). • Act as primary interface with EPC contractors, PMC, client, vendors and commissioning teams. • Ensure compliance with SAES, SAMSS, SABIC, IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA and ISA standards. • Review and approve method statements, ITPs, work packs and technical queries. • Enforce HSE requirements, PTW, LOTO and electrical safety practices. • Monitor progress, manpower and material availability; resolve site issues. • Lead pre‑commissioning, testing and support commissioning through handover.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering and possess at least 15 years of E&I construction experience, including lead roles on Saudi Arabian projects. Strong EPC/PMC site experience in oil & gas or petrochemical facilities is required. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering. • Possess 15+ years of E&I construction experience, including lead roles on Saudi projects. • Have strong EPC/PMC site experience in oil & gas or petrochemical facilities.
