About the Role

The Regional Facilities Manager provides managerial oversight of a portfolio of client facilities, leading multiple Facilities Managers and Engineers. The role ensures implementation of policies, procedures, and programs for well‑managed, well‑maintained buildings, emphasizing client response, environmental health and safety, and quality. It serves as the primary liaison with the regional client, coordinating services, finance, vendor management, and staffing. The manager must build strong relationships with the client, understand contractual requirements, and deliver “best in class” services. They lead the regional team to provide fast, positive technical and administrative support, implement Cushman & Wakefield policies, foster communication, remove roadblocks, and maintain a visible field presence. Financial stewardship includes ensuring compliance, developing plans, and providing analysis. The manager promotes workplace safety through training, equipment, and communication, and proactively manages risk for critical assets, coordinating emergency response and change management with vendors and experts. Capital asset requests are reviewed, and project involvement spans from initiation to completion. • Establish and maintain a successful working relationship with the regional client organization. • Understand and ensure delivery of client contractual requirements and “best in class” services. • Lead the regional team to provide cohesive technical and administrative customer service. • Implement C&W policies, foster clear communication, remove roadblocks, and encourage ownership. • Master and utilize C&W and client technology platforms, including CMMS reporting and dashboards. • Guide the team in real‑time work order management, response time analysis, productivity tracking, and quality assurance. • Ensure preventive maintenance is performed at required intervals with optimal staffing. • Conduct accurate Facility Condition Assessments and coordinate vendor performance for value and quality. • Own financial compliance, develop regional financial plans, and provide data analysis. • Promote workplace safety through training, equipment, reporting, and communication. • Identify critical assets, communicate risks, and coordinate emergency response and change management. • Review and submit capital asset requests, overseeing projects from inception to completion.

What You Bring

Mastery of Cushman & Wakefield and client technology, including CMMS, is required to monitor work order execution, preventive maintenance, and asset conditions. The manager guides the team on preventive maintenance schedules, facilitates accurate Facility Condition Assessments, and works with vendors to maximize value and quality of services. Required experience includes 12 years in facilities, at least 7 in commercial high‑rise or campus environments, with 3 years as a senior facilities manager; certifications such as RPA, CFM, FMA, or LEED O&M are recommended. A four‑year degree is required, and the role involves regular travel, standing, and use of office equipment.
