About the Role
The Electronic Technician installs, tests, troubleshoots, repairs, and modifies a variety of electronic communication devices, including ground common radios and digital wideband networking equipment, while completing the required administrative paperwork. The role also demands the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to provide technical assistance and training to junior technicians, as well as to support higher‑level technicians as needed. • Install, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electronic communication equipment. • Complete all required administrative documentation for work performed. • Provide technical assistance, guidance, and training to lower‑level technicians. • Lift equipment weighing up to 50 lb and perform other assigned tasks. • Participate in professional training and development for career advancement.

What You Bring
Candidates must have completed the Military Basic Electronics Course and the Ground Transmission Systems Repair Course, or an equivalent civilian qualification, and possess at least five years of directly related experience. An AA degree in electronics or comparable certifications (such as DOD 8570 IAT Level II or an FCC General Radio Telephone Operator License) may be considered in lieu of some military training. Applicants must be U.S. citizens able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, a tactical vehicle operator license if required, and demonstrate strong knowledge of radio systems, circuitry, and technical documentation. • Hold a Military Basic Electronics Course and Ground Transmission Systems Repair Course (or civilian equivalent). • Accumulate at least five years of relevant experience; AA degree or certifications acceptable. • Interpret technical manuals and apply knowledge of radio transmitters, receivers, circuits, and antennas. • Maintain U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain and retain a Secret clearance and Base Access. • Obtain a tactical vehicle operator license if required by the position.
