About the Role
Ventia is looking for a Cleaning Team Leader to join the Domestic Services Team at Robertson Barracks in Darwin, NT. The role involves overseeing a team of cleaners, servicing a variety of on‑site facilities and ensuring cleaning operations run smoothly while meeting quality standards. • Provide a reliable, collaborative team environment. • Support Ventia’s Defence Base Services and make a difference. • Foster growth and career development in a dynamic, supportive workplace. • Conduct cleaning duties to meet quality standards. • Manage efficient staff rosters. • Promote and monitor safe work practices. • Inspect cleaning standards and prepare reports. • Communicate effectively with staff and clients. • Assign tasks and monitor performance. • Train and guide new and existing team members. • Monitor stock levels of cleaning materials and equipment. • Perform administrative tasks. • Work in hot outdoor environments. • Lead, motivate, and influence staff to deliver excellent results.

What You Bring
• Possess strong knowledge of cleaning services. • Hold a valid Australian driver’s licence and own transport. • Have administration experience; proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.). • Demonstrate strong time management and multitasking skills.

Benefits
The position is casual with full‑time hours, paid at $27.44 per hour, and runs Monday to Friday from 7 am to 3 pm. Candidates must be Australian citizens and able to obtain defence clearance. • Work with a motivated, fun team.
