About the Role
Interns will assist engineering teams with various tasks, contribute to research, development, and design efforts, and help prepare engineering drawings and documents. What You Bring
The Scott Depot, West Virginia office is hiring an Intern Engineer – Structures for the Summer of 2026. This role supports assigned departments and projects by performing basic engineering tasks that reflect core post‑secondary curriculum. Relocation and housing are not provided, and visa sponsorship is unavailable. Candidates must hold a High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent) and be enrolled in an accredited engineering program, with a basic understanding of engineering, geometric, and algebraic concepts. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, the ability to perform simple calculations, and organizational skills are required, while knowledge of MicroStation or AutoCAD and a strong interest in transportation are preferred. • Possess a High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent) and be currently enrolled in an accredited post‑secondary engineering program. • Understand basic engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles. • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite. • Completed at least two years of a civil engineering program (preferred). • Knowledge of MicroStation and/or AutoCAD (preferred). • Strong interest in transportation and infrastructure (preferred).
