Staff Software Engineer - OIC

About the Role

The engineer will work closely with business and functional teams to translate requirements into robust Oracle Cloud integrations and custom applications, while ensuring adherence to engineering best practices, security standards, and automated testing. • Design and maintain integrations, extensions, and custom apps using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS), and Oracle Policy Automation (OPA). • Collaborate with business and functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable Oracle SaaS/PaaS solutions. • Build system integrations via REST/SOAP services, FBDI, and ADF DI. • Develop reports and analytics using BI Publisher, OTBI, and related Oracle reporting tools. • Apply Oracle AI services such as Agent Studio to automate workflows and provide AI‑driven insights. • Explore and integrate generative AI and modern ML technologies to improve user experience and process automation. • Ensure code quality, unit testing, security standards, and use CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment. • Support solution deployment and troubleshooting across Dev, SIT, and UAT environments, and mentor junior developers. • Collaborate effectively with managers and cross‑functional teams. • Apply analytical thinking to tackle complex problems and develop data‑driven solutions.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least five years of experience delivering enterprise‑grade Oracle SaaS/PaaS solutions, deep hands‑on expertise with OIC, VBCS, and OPA, and a solid foundation in PL/SQL, REST/SOAP services, and reporting tools such as BI Publisher and OTBI. Success in this role depends on a strong curiosity, product‑focused mindset, effective cross‑functional collaboration, persistence, creativity, and a data‑driven approach to solving complex problems. • 5+ years designing, building, and scaling enterprise‑grade applications on Oracle SaaS/PaaS platforms. • Strong hands‑on experience with OIC, VBCS, and OPA. • Proven delivery of Oracle Fusion Cloud technical solutions and knowledge of Finance, SCM, and Procurement modules. • Expertise in PL/SQL, REST/SOAP web services, and FBDI‑based integrations. • Proficiency with BI Publisher, OTBI, and Smart View for reporting. • Solid grasp of software engineering best practices, version control, CI/CD, and automated testing. • Experience with Oracle AI tools (Agent Studio) and AI integration into Cloud solutions (preferred). • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and effective asynchronous collaboration across time zones. • Cultivate curiosity and a product‑focused mindset.
