About the Role

The Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services. The driver also ensures the vehicle complies with the company’s safety standards, adheres to all state and federal regulations, and completes daily vehicle condition reports to address defects promptly. Before each shift, the driver performs a thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspection, checking tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls. While on route, the driver follows the route sheet, operates manual or automatic controls to lift, load, and compact refuse, and disposes of material at the designated facility. The driver interacts courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers, tags unsatisfactory containers, monitors waste for violations, cleans accidental spills, and keeps the truck clean after each disposal trip. Daily paperwork includes route/productivity sheets, VCRs, and other required reports, and the driver must meet productivity standards while following all safety policies and the ReSOP program.

What You Bring

Strong customer service skills, effective time management, reliable follow‑through, and a commitment to safety and company policies are essential. The role requires a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement.
