About the Role
• Financial Management: Assist with rent collection, and expenses to ensure financial stability. • Leasing and Marketing: Advertise available units, conduct property tours, and manage the leasing process to maintain high occupancy rates. • Compliance: Stay informed about affordable housing regulations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local housing laws. • Maintenance Oversight: Coordinate purchasing, contracting, maintenance and repair activities, ensuring the property is well-maintained and in compliance with regulations. • Tenant Relations: Foster positive relationships with residents, addressing concerns and providing exceptional customer service. • Community Engagement: Organize community events, services, workshops, and activities to enhance the sense of community among residents.

What You Bring
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite. • Previous experience in property management, preferably with a focus on affordable housing a plus. • Ability to handle tenant relations, conflict resolution, and customer service effectively. • Knowledge of affordable housing programs and regulations. • COS (Certified Occupancy Specialist), TCS (Tax Credit Specialist), Fair Housing, or equivalent industry-specific training/certifications preferred. • Associate's degree or higher preferred
