About the Role

As a Water Heater Installer you will learn and grow within a supportive team that values customers and the Reliance brand. You will represent the company professionally on every call, explain and promote Reliance’s products and services, and install water heater and tankless equipment according to manufacturer specifications, local codes, and company standards. You will also repair leaking heaters, maintain HVAC equipment, ensure safety, and provide superior customer service through effective communication and problem solving. • Install and service water heaters and tankless equipment per manufacturer specs, codes, and company standards. • Replace or repair leaking water heaters and maintain HVAC equipment. • Ensure personal and customer safety during all tasks. • Provide superior customer service and build positive relations through effective communication and problem solving. • Educate customers on product options and make recommendations. • Train and mentor new installers and contribute to lead generation. • Supply fully stocked trucks and tools plus ongoing skills training. • Provide a predictable, stable schedule and paid time off. • Foster an award‑winning inclusive corporate culture with high‑performer perks such as President’s Club trips.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has a growth mindset, at least a Grade 12 education, a valid Gas Technician 2 (G2) license and a Class G driver’s license. You must possess diagnostic and HVAC maintenance skills, be physically capable of lifting and maneuvering water heaters, and demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities. Punctuality, dependability, and the ability to work rotating shifts and standby duties, including weekends, are essential. You will also maintain the company vehicle to clean and safe standards and be able to work with minimal supervision. • Require minimum Grade 12 education and a valid Gas Technician 2 (G2) license. • Require a Class G driver’s license and ability to lift/maneuver water heaters with equipment. • Require diagnostic and HVAC maintenance skills for residential equipment. • Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, problem‑solving and customer service abilities. • Be punctual, dependable, and able to work rotating shifts and standby duties.
