About the Role
In this role you will supervise a team that delivers high‑quality cleaning services throughout the store, while also rolling up your sleeves to perform cleaning tasks yourself when required. Key duties include recruiting and training the cleaning team, creating rotas and work patterns, and processing timesheets to ensure accurate pay. You must be flexible with working times to meet business needs and will be responsible for monitoring health and safety for yourself and all site staff, with full equipment and support provided. • Recruit, train and supervise the in‑store cleaning team. • Create rotas, work patterns and ensure accurate timesheet completion. • Perform cleaning duties alongside the team as needed. • Monitor and enforce health and safety standards on site. • Provide necessary equipment and support for safe operations. • Manage stock and record time accurately. • Handle employee relations, including investigations, disciplinaries and performance management. • Work a 39‑hour week over six days, with Sundays off.

Benefits
Job Details: The In‑Store Cleaning Manager role is based in Romford and offers a pay rate of £13.21 per hour with overtime rates to be confirmed. The position is 39 hours per week over six days, with Sundays off. Working hours run from 05:00‑11:30 Monday‑Thursday and Saturday, and 05:00‑14:30 on Friday. • Offer a competitive hourly rate of £13.21 with overtime opportunities.
