About the Role
The Maintenance Technician works on‑site to handle daily work orders, preventative maintenance, groundskeeping, trash removal, equipment repair, and other duties as directed by the Community Engineering Manager. • Complete work orders for residential units and common areas. • Repair broken or leaking plumbing to prevent water damage. • Perform painting and drywall repairs as needed. • Follow preventive maintenance programs for the building. • Identify and repair potential safety hazards. • Adhere to company safety policies and use PPE appropriately. • Diagnose and repair HVAC systems. • Diagnose and repair appliances. • Work full shifts on‑site and be available on‑call, including evenings, weekends, and overtime. • Assist with move‑outs, turn‑arounds, and move‑ins beyond regular hours. • Lift and move objects up to 50 lb regularly, involving bending and stooping.

What You Bring
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. • Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience. • Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems. • Manual dexterity and strong problem‑solving skills. • Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools. • Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation. • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or able to obtain within 3 months of hire. • Advanced knowledge of HVAC systems (preferred). • Familiarity with tools, common appliances, and devices. • Experience with Entrata and Microsoft Office. • Background in student housing or multi‑family industries.
