About the Role

The Debt Associate role joins JLL's dynamic debt placement team, focusing exclusively on placing debt and equity for commercial real‑estate transactions. The position offers end‑to‑end involvement in the transaction lifecycle, from initial underwriting through successful closing, and provides the opportunity to deepen expertise in commercial‑real‑estate finance while building valuable industry relationships. In this high‑energy, team‑focused environment, the associate leverages market insights and financial‑modeling expertise to advise clients on strategic capital‑structure decisions, collaborating closely with Producers and maintaining clear communication across all stakeholders throughout each deal. • Prepare debt and equity offering memorandums with research, financial models, and executive summaries. • Develop complex financial models and underwrite commercial real‑estate deals using market data and JLL comps. • Manage due‑diligence, marketing, and closing activities from start to finish. • Maintain continuous communication with producers, market participants, and clients throughout the transaction lifecycle. • Review leases, loan documents, and appraisals to identify potential issues. • Build and maintain a strong client network through meetings, events, and trade‑organization involvement.

What You Bring
